Snubnose Rottweiler describes a fresh, homemade feeding routine for its dogs and puppies rather than a kibble-based diet. Meals are prepared as part of the kennel’s daily care routine.
Feeding questions
A useful feeding plan starts with the individual dog and the food being fed.
Weight is one input. Age, body condition, activity, health, and the food’s calorie content also matter. Ask your veterinary team to set a daily calorie goal and translate it into portions for your dog’s food, including treats. A chart cannot provide the same portion for every Rottweiler of a given weight.
Get the puppy’s current food, measured portions, schedule, and transition information from Marc. Review that information with your veterinarian and agree on a monitoring plan as the puppy grows.

Adult dogs
The adult dogs are fed a fresh, homemade diet with no kibble. Marc describes nutrition as an important part of daily care, growth, and overall development.
Preparing the kennel meals takes several hours each day. The ingredient list below reflects the current public routine, rather than a universal recipe for every dog.
Puppy transition
Puppies receive their mother’s milk until week 7. After that, Marc introduces the same ingredient approach used for the adult dogs and adds cottage cheese.
